C&W is happy to announce its new line, Oskar Air Products. Oskar has a full line of small portable cartridge collectors, roll filters, exhaust arms, downdraft tables and environmental control booths. Oskar targets the weld smoke, plasma and laser applications.

Snap On Tools (Kenosha, WI) and Oskar Air Products recently completed a purchase requisition for a custom downdraft table for its Kenosha showroom. Oskar worked with Snap On personnel to incorporate electrical outlets, lights and an exhaust arm. The unit had a custom paint job to match other equipment and furnishings in the showroom.

Bionomic Industries Succeeds

Bionomic Industries has completed the installation and successful testing of a wet electrostatic precipitator for the Mayo Clinic (Rochester, MN). Bionomic Industries was awarded the contract last year to provide an ultra efficient submicron collection device after a wet scrubber. Bionomic Industries and Hart Environmental designed, fabricated and delivered a wet electrostatic precipitator (WESP). The unit was installed in late May, early June with startup following shortly afterward.

The unit was tested and passed its environmental testing in mid August. Its (WESP) particle collection efficiency was so great, that the scrubber delta P was reduced, creating a significant HP and money savings on the process.
